Thousands of protesters occupied the streets of Israel on Sunday (17), asking for the immediate end of the war and the release of the 50 hostages still detained in Gaza.
Schools, companies and public transport were closed, and the protests took place in the main cities of the country. Groups also met in front of the government’s residences.
Organizers estimate that hundreds of thousands of people participate in the strike, demonstrating increasing dissatisfaction with the conduct of the conflict.
