The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police are on Thursday (07) warrants against 15 digital influencers who illegally disclose the “Tigrinho Game” and similar on social networks, and are investigated for money laundering and criminal organization.
In order to dismantle the scheme, the steps of “Operation Unfortunate” take place in the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The agents did not say how many warrants will be served and if there is any arrest warrant for some of the investigated.
Reports of the Financial Activities Control Board (COAF) obtained by the police reported that suspicious, added bank movements exceed R $ 4 billion.
The investigation also revealed that the posts made by the investigated have misleading promises of easy profits, with the intention of attracting followers to these betting platforms, which are banned in the country.
