In this morning (17), shooters opened fire at a restaurant in Brooklyn, New York, killing three people and leaving eight other wounds, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD).
The department reported that around 3:30 am (4:30 am in Brasilia) received calls from locations informing the shooting. When the police arrived, they found “several people with bullet injuries,” said Jessica Tisch commissioner at a press conference.
So far, no one has been arrested.
Tisch points out that “multiple gunmen” are involved in the criminal act and says he believes the shots have originated in more than one weapon. Near the restaurant, police recovered a gun and 36 candy cartridges.
The NYPD commissioner detailed that the victims of the “terrible” incident are between 27 and 61 years old – eight men and three women. Among the three dead, all are male.
All injured were taken to a hospital near the restaurant region, where they were treated. There are no more details about the health of those involved.
Police are analyzing images of security cameras in the region and opened an investigation to investigate the crime.
