The governor of São Paulo, Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans), will perform on Sunday (3) a medical procedure for removal of nodules in the thyroid gland. The technique is considered minimally invasive. According to the official note, the procedure will take place at Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo. The expectation is hospital discharge on the same day.
The governor’s agenda foresees return to work on Monday (4). Tarcísio must comply with internal commitments at the Bandeirantes Palace, headquarters of the São Paulo government.
The medical procedure coincides with the date of the political act marked by supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro, on Paulista Avenue. For this reason, the governor should not attend.
