Germany has reinforced its military logistics capacity with a new request of 1,388 trucks to Rheinmetall in a contract valued at approximately $ 892 million.
The order, made by BundeswehrIt includes 963 vehicles with interchangeable body, some with armored cabin, and 425 non -armored transport trucks in 4 × 4 and 8 × 8 versions. Delivery is scheduled until the end of 2025 and was made under a framework agreement signed in July 2024.

This agreement allows Bundeswehr to acquire up to 6,500 logistics vehicles over seven years, totaling a potential investment of up to $ 4.06 billion. Among the news is the introduction of a new truck category, the UTF 3.5T 4 × 4, which is designed to ensure greater compatibility with other models of the fleet. UTF 5T and 15T versions, already in use by the German Armed Forces, can also be purchased throughout the contract.
