The US President Donald Trump appointed the former conservative fox newsistor Tammy Bruce as United States Ambassador in the United Nations (UN). The announcement was made by Trump’s social networks on Saturday (9).
In his post from the Truth Social Network, the president stated that Tammy is a “great patriot” and praised her work in the United States government.
“Since the beginning of my second term, Tammy has been serving as a spokesman for the State Department, where he did a fantastic job,” wrote Donald Trump.
In the function cited by him, the former combatant was responsible for officially presenting the US positioning on foreign policy issues, as well as serving the international press.
Now she will be deputy reporter of the United States in the UN as ambassador. “Tammy Bruce will represent our country brilliantly in the United Nations,” said Trump.
On social networks, Tammy thanked the president for his nomination and confidence. “My commitment to leadership and the values of ‘America in the first place’ remains in the global scenario in this new position,” he said.
In his career, Tammy Bruce worked for over 20 years at Fox News, presented radio and television shows and wrote several books.
