Igor Eduardo Cabral, a former basketball player and aggressor, was arrested in the act and, after a custody hearing, had his arrest converted into preventive. He will answer for attempted femicide, as reported by police.
The victim underwent surgery on Friday (1st) to reconstruct face bones at the Onofre Lopes University Hospital (huol). According to the institution, the objective of the operation was to “restore the form and function of the face”, since the woman suffered multiple fractures in the jaw and face.
