An explosion in an explosive factory left 9 people missing on Tuesday (12), in Quatro Barras, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. There is no record of dead, according to the city’s official note.
The Fire Department controlled the fire outbreaks and the Civil Defense teams survey the surrounding homes, trades and buildings. The causes of the incident are being investigated by the authorities.
The city reported that the company has all the licenses and permits necessary for operation, according to the legal requirements. In a statement, the municipality sympathized with those affected and ensured follow -up of all developments, providing support to the victims and their families.
The company’s management said it is available to repair the damage to the population and provide full support to the workers and relatives of the missing.
