More than 740,000 candidates applied for Encceja 2025, a national exam to certify youth and adult competences, which takes place this Sunday (3).
The National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira will apply the tests in all Brazilian states and the Federal District. The tests will be applied in two shifts, according to Brasilia time. In the morning, the tests will start at 9am and will fear at 13h. In the afternoon, the tests will start at 3:30 pm and continue until 8:30 pm.
According to Inep, to make the Encceja, it will be mandatory to present an original photo document. It is also necessary to carry black ballpoint pen, made of transparent material. Although not mandatory, the agency recommends that the registration confirmation card will also be taken.
Encceja is a free opportunity for young people and adults who have not completed elementary or high school at the appropriate age. The exam is used as an instrument of certification of competences acquired in both the school environment and in life and work experiences.
The results are used by the education departments as a basis for issuing the certificates of completion of elementary and high school.
