Casa Rosada spokesman Manuel Adorni said on Friday (8) that Argentina “watches” the situation of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) in Brazil, according to reports from CNN.
Adorni added that although the Argentine government is aware of the last political event in Brazil, there is no position by President Javier Milei on the case.
“We do not interfere with internal policy in other countries, and when justice determines, what we do is observe. We are still in observation, we do not have a conclusion about the situation,” the Argentine spokesman told the broadcaster.
Bolsonaro was arrested on Monday (4) by Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF). Asked by the broadcaster, Adorni stressed that there is no forecast for Milei to visit Bolsonaro in Brazil.
