Olivia Munn Addresses Aaron Rodgers’ Family Dynamic in Rare Relationship Comments
Aaron Rodgers is quite literally taking one for the team.
After the NFL star revealed he was married earlier this summer, he shared how his wife, who has only been identified as Brittanipartially influenced his decision to sign a $13.65 million one-year contract with the Steelers.
“I was taking orders from my (new) sister-in-law, Mia,” Aaron, 41, told The Athletic in an interview published August 1. “She’s 20 and she’s the brains of the family; you just have to ask her.”
But while Aaron’s previous contract with the New York Jets earned him around $75 million between the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he admitted he was only “partially serious” that his wife’s sister had anything to do with his decision.
“Every team that I talked to, I said, ‘Listen, if I play, I’m not going to take a ton of money,’” Aaron continued. “I’ve made a ton of money. I don’t need the money.’”
