Based in the UK and operating in regions such as Northumberland, Tyneside, Wearside, County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire, Alpha Recovery offers 24/7 solutions for both private and commercial clients. The company operates a fleet of more than 36 vehicles prepared for missions such as heavy recovery, overturned truck rescue with air cushions, off-road operations, bus and van transport, as well as cranes for machinery and roadwork contracts.
Power and Cutting-Edge Technology
The acquired Arocs is equipped with a 15.6-litre engine producing 627 HP and 3,000 Nm of torque, in an 8×4 configuration – ideal for rescuing large trucks with trailers. It features a 12-speed Mercedes-Benz PowerShift automated transmission and selectable driving modes, including rocking function and reverse gear.
The truck has also been fitted with a Falkom FAW25000 winch system, renowned for its reliability in modern heavy recovery operations.
Michael Burke from Alpha Recovery highlighted the new vehicle’s performance:
“We chose the Arocs due to our excellent previous experiences with Mercedes vehicles. This truck had to meet serious demands – and it exceeded expectations. The performance, technology, driver comfort, and engine braking are excellent. Moreover, it delivers fuel efficiency we haven’t seen from other manufacturers.”
With operations in challenging terrains and high-pressure scenarios, Alpha has found in the Arocs a reliable solution for heavy loads, taking its operational capacity to a new level.
