On Monday (28), the Argentine government signed a document with US authorities to exempt Argentines from the tour and business visa, on the South American country’s return to a program from which it had been removed in 2002.
The measure was one of the fruits of the visit of the secretary of the US internal security department (DHS), Kristi Noem, Argentina.
Argentines will benefit from Visa Waiver Program or Visa Exemption Program (VWP), which, according to information from the US State Department, allows most citizens of participating countries to travel to the United States to tourism or business for up to 90 days without the need for a visa.
With the Argentine incorporation process still in the process, for now Chile is the only country in South America included in VWP. Check out the full list of 42 countries that make up the program:

In addition to the VWP, the United States has visa exemption programs for citizens of Canada and Bermuda and Canadian and Mexico qualified citizens for temporary work in certain sectors, pursuant to the free trade agreement between the three countries of North America.
