On Wednesday (23), the Wall Street Journal published a report stating that Donald Trump’s name is quoted numerous times in secret files linked to Jeffrey Epstein. According to the American publication, Attorney General Pam Bondi reported this to the president at a meeting held in May at the White House. In official statement, the US government headquarters claims that the matter is fake news.

Hundreds of influential figures names appear in billionaire documents accused of maintaining a minor prostitution network. Donald Trump is quoted on the list does not indicate that he necessarily committed a crime, but reveals the president’s relationship with the businessman.

The newspaper also announced that the Republican sent a card to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 due to his friend’s 50th anniversary. “May every day be a wonderful new secret,” he wrote alongside the illustration of a naked woman. The president sued the vehicle by the report.

Last week, pressured by his supporters and the Republican Party, Donald Trump asked the case court to disclose the transcripts of the testimonials of the great jury who heard the lawsuit against businessman Jeffrey Epstein. The American court rejected the request, arguing that the law does not allow jury positions to be revealed only by public interest.

In the 1990s, Epstein became known for the parties he organized with the presence of politicians and entrepreneurs. In 2005, a woman’s complaint led to a police investigation that revealed that more than 30 girls had been sexually abused by the businessman.

In 2008, Jeffrey Epstein was sentenced and served 13 months in prison for prostitution. Already in 2019, he was arrested for sexual trafficking of minors – the year when, according to the autopsy, committed suicide in jail.
