The autumn ceremony was held at Mitsubishi Shipyard in Nagasaki, where a modern escort series is being built. The name of the new trap was named ‘Tatsuta’ from the Tatsutagawa River, a tributary of Yamato River near Nara Prefecture.

The name ‘tatsuta’ is used for the third time in the history of the Japanese Navy, and was previously assigned to the inclusion of the Japanese Empire Navy and the light cruiser in the 1920s and 1940s.
This trap is part of a total of 12 drying plans, the second launch trap from the end of Mogami. The last ship will be launched by the end of 2025. The hull was triggered on July 3, 2024, and will be commissioned in 2026 after a year of construction and maritime test.
