The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer BSA Expands its global portfolio with the resuscitation of classic names and the promise of new models. Under Bike Shed Moto Showrecently held in London, the brand officially presented the brand new Bantam 350 and also showed off the long -awaited Scrambler 650.

Originally produced between 1948 and 1971, Bantam was known for its ease, robustness and simplicity, properties that made it popular in both civil and military use.
Now the BSA heritage brings back with a modern version based on Java 42 FJ-The platform, since both brands are controlled by Classic Legends, supported by Mahindra.
The new Bantam 350 has been completely redesigned by BSA. The showed model has black lacquer with silver details, tear-shaped tank with union jack, new side panels, redesigned backlamp and a “Three Gun Salute” emblem on the engine cover-a tribute to British pride.
It has lightweight rims (18 inch front and 17 back), and divides chassis and suspension with Jawa 42 fj.
Under the tank is a fluid -cooled 334 cc single -cylinder engine that performs 29 hp and 29 nm torqueconnected to a six-step gearbox. With this configuration, the model becomes the most accessible option from BSA in the international market, and serves as the gateway to the brand in Europe.
Scrambler 650, which was also exhibited on the BSA stand, is based on the Goldstar 650 and has a more adventurous design. It has 19 “front wheels and 17” rear wheels with pirelli scorpion rally sts tires, longer suspension road and terrain-friendly character.
The brake system consists of a 320 mm slice front with Brembo calipers and a 255 mm slice behind, both with two-channel ABS. The model weighs 218 kg and has a seat height of 820 mm.
The two new BSA models compete directly with Indian Royal Enfield models, such as Classic 350, Hunter 350 and the new Scram 650.
