Equipped with integrated millimeter-wave radar, the model promises greater precision and safety in logistics operations. It can fly up to 6 km with a full 80 kg load and reach 26 km without a load when equipped with two batteries. The FC100 also withstands extreme temperatures, winds up to 12 m/s, and reaches altitudes of 6,000 meters.
Technical highlights include 62-inch carbon fiber propellers, coaxial dual-rotor system, and several stability-focused features: real-time weight sensor, automatic balancing system, and motorized hook. Control is handled via the RC Plus 2, with a 7-inch screen and support for dual operators via the DJI O4 protocol.
For emergencies, the drone includes an integrated parachute and sensors such as lidar, a five-direction detection camera, and the millimeter-wave radar.
The millimeter-wave radar, typically used in fields like meteorology and defense, enables the drone to detect obstacles, hover precisely, and map terrain in detail. The technology enhances positioning and navigation, expanding the equipment’s potential uses.
In addition to the FC100, DJI also launched the Mavic 4 Pro this year, the successor to the Mavic 3 Pro line for semi-professional users.
