China has performed a wide demonstration of war with drones and contracted systems, highlighting its growing global leadership in the provision of unmanned military technology.
The exercise took place in a test camp in the region of Mongolia interior and simulated the taking of strategic locations on the border. The operation involved six phases, from recognition to the elimination of targets and the denial of access, with the participation of a variety of drones and terrestrial equipment produced in the country.

Non -Recognition Drones (ISR), short and long range ammunition, unmanned helicopters and tactical models with first person vision (FPV) were used. In the soil, intelligent control and control systems, as well as anti -Dorde defenses, were also tested. One of the highlights was the OW5-A Laser Weapon, capable of neutralizing drones with a high-energy beam almost invisible to the naked eye. The latest version of the system, integrated with an 8 × 8 truck, was displayed in action, highlighting the Chinese bet on weapons with “unlimited ammunition” as long as there is power supply.
The event, organized by state -owned Norinco, also featured tactical drones such as the flying frog (VTOL), the flying hawk (high -speed ammunition), the black bee (grenade launcher) and the flying whale (bombing). The coordination between drones and artillery was demonstrated with an obuser of 155 mm guided in real time by UAVs.
The Filong series, consisting of suicidal drones of different sizes and reach, was also presented with the proposal to form swarms capable of carrying out saturated attacks against enemy targets.
