Florida’s court in the United States issued a new subpoena on the Supreme Court (STF) Minister Alexandre de Moraes on Monday process Moved by Trump Media and the Rumble Video Platform. Companies, aligned with US President Donald Trump, accuse Moraes of censorship and claim that the minister imposes orders to remove content and profiles on social networks that affect US citizens and residents.
In this new summons, the American court informs that Moraes has 21 days to submit a response, contestation or request for filing the process. The deadline will only count after the minister’s summons and, if he does not submit a demonstration, the judgment will be rendered to the default.

Freedom of expression
The action of companies evokes at a central point for Americans: the defense of the 1st amendment of the Constitution that determines that no law will be made restricting freedom of expression or the press, or the right of the people to meet peacefully and to ask the government to repair their grievances. The Rumble Network has been suspended in Brazil since February this year. With this suspension, the company claims that it is obliged to censor content for users in the United States and not just in Brazil.

Companies ask for compensation
Both companies request that the US court declare the orders of null or unenforceable Moraes. They also ask for the minister’s liability for violation of American sovereignty, freedom of expression and possible compensation.
Moraes decided to suspend Rumble after the platform did not remove profiles from journalist Allan dos Santos. It also determined blocking of financial transfers from advertising and donations of supporters on the network and intended for it. Also according to the minister, the network did not indicate or proved to have a legal representative in Brazil.
