A land drone of the 13th Khartiia Brigade of the Ukraine National Guard was essential to save the life of a wounded soldier during a logistics mission.
The “Tor-800” drone, which carried supplies, was redirected after operators detected a combatant with serious leg injuries nearby. Evacuation was urgent, as the delay could have been fatal, and the use of conventional methods was unfeasible due to difficult terrain, long distance and the presence of enemy drones.

The robot toured 32 kilometers per trails and dirt roads until the soldier safely took to the medical care point. The brigade pointed out that the operation reinforces its commitment to prioritize human lives, even in high -risk scenarios and visibility on the battlefield. The quick decision and innovative use of technology demonstrate the unit’s ability to adapt to critical situations.

This was not the first mission of its type: in May, another land robot, the “Tarhan”, rescued a wounded soldier 12 kilometers from the front line, in a joint operation with a support battalion. Despite the growing effectiveness of these vehicles, brigade officers admit that robot bowel movement are still considered to be last resort measures used when there are no safer alternatives.
