The Ukraine Armed Forces launched, on July 20, an offensive against Russian air defense systems located in the Belgorod region, Russian territory near the border.

According to the Ukrainian state, the action resulted in the destruction of an S-300P missile system and reached a Nebo-M radar station, also compromising a 5N66m radar nearby.

According to the Ukrainian military, the attacks significantly reduced Russia’s ability to protect troops, supply routes and strategic structures in the area. Authorities point out that these actions are part of a continuous effort to weaken Moscow’s war capacity, especially with regard to attacks on civilians and civil infrastructure.

The Ukrainian government has not revealed which weapons were used in the operation, but stressed that it will continue to conduct offensive until the Russian occupation comes to an end, the country’s territorial integrity is restored and lasting peace is achieved.
