Two people died in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s new attacks against the country. The Kiev Air Force reported that Moscow launched 426 drones and 24 missiles at night across the country, but that only 23 drones reached targets.
The attack damaged the entry of a subway station. The place is used by residents such as shelter and there was a brief moment of panic among people underground. The mayor of Kiev said rescue teams and doctors were working in places spread over four districts of the capital. A commercial property, shops, houses and a kindergarten were damaged, according to municipal authorities.
On Monday (21), the Russian government said it does not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, if the presidents are in Beijing at the same time in September. Kremlin has confirmed that Putin will visit China for events that will mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
