Trump reveals a new report and intensifies complaints against Obama

The government led by US President Donald Trump published on Wednesday an intelligence report whose confidentiality was withdrawn and allegedly brought further evidence of a “conspiracy” articulated by former President Barack Obama to relate Trump with Russia and delegitimize victory in 2016.

The report, written by the Chamber of Representatives Intelligence Committee in 2020, reviews the alleged Russian interference in the presidential election, which US National Intelligence Director, Tulsi Gabbard, considers an Obama government “conspiracy” proof against Trump.

Gabbard stated at a news conference at the White House that this is “irrefutable” evidence that Obama and his national security team lied to the population by promoting the narrative that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin favored Trump in the elections, in which Moscow tried to interfere.

“There is irrefutable evidence that details such as President Obama and his team directed the creation of an evaluation of the intelligence community known to his falsehood. They knew it would promote this artificial narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 elections to help President Trump win,” he said.

According to the American Intelligence Director, “found from poor quality sources were” manufactured, suppressed evidence and believable intelligence that refuted their false statements. “

“In doing so, they plotted to subvert the will of the American people who elected Donald Trump in these elections,” said Gabbard, who had already revealed a first collection of disqualified documents last week when he appealed to process government officials.

She accused former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, former national intelligence director James Clapper and former FBI director James Comey, allegedly accomplices in what she called Russia’s farce.

In addition, Gabbard redoubled the accusations against the press for collaborating to amplify “this lie with the ultimate goal of undermining Trump’s legitimacy” and “launching what would be a coup d’état against him and his administration.”

Asked why this information was not revealed during Trump’s first term, Gabbard said he cannot answer for what happened at that time, but as soon as after the Republican’s return to power in January, this was one of the first topics that began to be investigated.

Trump’s accusations come in the midst of former president’s old relations with businessman Jeffrey Epstein-whose government request to disclose statements was denied by the American court.

Last Tuesday, Obama classified as “bizarre” and “outrageous” the accusations made by Trump.

“Out of respect for the presidency’s office, our cabinet usually does not dignify constant nonsense and misinformation that flow from this white house with an answer. But these statements are sufficiently outrageous to deserve to deserve [uma resposta]. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt of distraction, “said Patrick Rodenbus, Obama spokesman.

“Nothing in the document released last week compromises the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election, but did not manipulate any vote successfully,” said the spokesman.
