United States President Donald Trump announced on Thursday a new 35% percentage for imports from Canada.
The letter directed at the neighboring country’s prime minister, Mark Meatary, was released on the agent’s profile at Truth Social.
“Instead of working with the United States, Canada has retaliated with its own tariffs,” Trump said, justifying the measure that will take effect on August 1.
