The Federal Supreme Court (STF) will interrogate on Monday (28) the ten defendants of core 3 of the attempted coup. According to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), the group would have been responsible for coercive actions, such as the monitoring of public authorities and coordinated to destabilize the democratically elected government and violent planning.
The nucleus is made up of military and reserve military personnel and an agent of the Federal Police. The defendants are accused of attempted violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, attempted coup d’état, involvement in armed criminal organization, qualified damage and deterioration of listed heritage.
Soon after the defendants are heard, the prosecution and the defense will make the final allegations. Thus, the rapporteur minister, the president of the first class Cristiano Zanin, may release the case to mark the trial.
