by Marcelo Moreira

The entourage of Brazilian senators in Washington, United States, with the aim of trying to discuss alternatives to the 50% tariff imposed by US President Donald Trump about imported products from Brazil, gathers on Monday (28) with entrepreneurs. A meeting with parliamentarians should take place on Tuesday (28).

The delegation headed by Senator Nelsinho Trad (PSD-MS) attended this Sunday (27) in a preparatory meeting of the official mission in order to update the priority themes and align the points that should be addressed. Brazilian politicians will still try some agenda with Trump government representatives. The idea is to discuss the impacts on Brazilian and American economies if the tariffs are maintained from August 1.

Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira also landed in the country on Sunday (27), but should officially participate in agendas in the United Nations (UN) in New York on the Palestinian issue.
