The bill that authorizes the operation of casinos and bingos, legalizes the animal game and allows bets on horse racing is one of five items on the session of the Senate session scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday (08).
Despite being expected to vote, leaders recognize that there is no agreement for approval. The proposal is well regarded by the government, as the legalization of bookmakers can become a source of revenue, as well as the Bets.
PL 2,234/2022, which authorizes the operation of casinos and bingos in Brazil, has already been approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) was approved in June 2024, as an opinion of Senator Irajá (PSD-TO). He welcomed suggested amendments and promised adjustments in the text.
