According to reports, the Russian northern fleet vessel conducted artillery attacks and simulated combat exercises on the Rybachii Peninsula, near the Barents Sea.

The exercises, which were announced by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, included real shots of the main AK-130 cannon of two pipes of the ship against coastal targets.

They also included combat with missiles and artillery exercises against unmanned surface ships. According to the Russian authorities, all targets were successfully hit.

The war ship is also expected to perform more anti-submarine, anti-aircraft and anti-gall training in the coming days. But the proximity of the exercises, which were performed only 20 km from the Norwegian sea borders, left alert experts.
