The Civil Police found a well that hid a ton of marijuana on a rural property in the neighborhood of Ponte Alta, Atibaia, in the interior of São Paulo. A 30 -year -old man was caught in the act.
Agents of the 2nd Narcotics Investigation Police Station (Dise) got information about where local traffickers would be storing drugs.
The police made a bell at the address to try to identify some suspicious movement and approached a pickup truck, where 12 pounds of marijuana were found.
In search of the property, the investigators were surprised by the land revenant where the vehicle was parked. When digging the place, a cement lid that led to a well was found.
According to the Public Security Bureau, at least 926 drug bricks were found in the hiding place, which totaled 838 pounds.
The suspect was sent to the 2nd Dise, where he remained in prison for drug trafficking. The Civil Police continues with investigations to identify the others involved.
