Military police officer Fábio Anderson Pereira de Almeida, who killed with a 26 -year -old cabinetmaker Guilherme Dias Santos Ferreira, was removed from operational service.
The cabinetmaker was killed last Friday (4) by the agent after being confused with robbers trying to steal his motorcycle. The crime happened on the Ecoturistic Road of Parelheiros, in the south of São Paulo.
The PM crowded in the 12th Metropolitan Military Police Battalion was arrested in the act for manslaughter, but was released after bail.
According to the police report, the policeman said he was on the motorcycle when he was approached by armed suspects. Reacting to the shots at the robbery, Guilherme was shot and died on the spot. The victim was going to take a bus after the day of work.
“The case was registered as a homicide and is investigated through police inquiry established by the Guarulhos Homicide and Protection of Persons (SHPP), who performs steps to identify and locate the perpetrators, as well as clarify the facts. Other details will be preserved due to the confidentiality of the State of São Paulo Public Security.
