The Nissan Formula E Team is ready for the crucial rounds of ABB FIA Formula E-World Championship 2024/25, which takes place this weekend on the demanding, partially indoor Excel London track. The Japanese team goes into rounds 15 and 16 as number two in both the designer and team championships- with the ambition to end the season on top.
British Oliver Rowland, who recently won the driver title after a memorable effort in Berlin, is the team’s great hope. By his side, French Norman Nato is back behind the wheel in car #17, and he is optimistic after scoring points in three of the last four races on the London track.

Special Lakes Celebrates New Nissan Leaf
To mark the launch of the new Nissan Leaf, produced in the UK, the team presents a special version with an iconic petrol blue lacquer. This marks the arrival of the third generation of the 100 % electric model, developed with over 15 years of experience and more than 700,000 units sold since the debut model was launched in 2010 – the world’s first mass -produced emission -free electric car.

A challenging path in the middle of London
Excel London Circuit, which is 2.09 km long, is the only partial indoor path in the Formula E calendar. It combines indoor sections in the fair hall with fast turns around Royal Victoria Docks, which requires precision and strategy. The narrow path makes bypasses difficult and the qualifying more important. The best passing points are in turn 1 and in the outer turn between turns 10 and 11, before returning to the indoor part in turn 16.
In the previous London round, Rowland shone in front of the home crowd by winning the race after starting from the ninth position. Now the team hopes to repeat the success of the end of the season.
