President Donald Trump’s ex-ally, Elon Musk, announced last Saturday (5) his intention to create the “Party of America.” The new caption, according to the South African, would come to “return freedom to the United States.”
The idea came from a poll -created poll on its own social network, the X, which wondered if it would not “be time to create a new political party in the United States to represent the 80% of the environment” – expression used by Musk to refer to most independent voters. He also repeatedly criticized the budget and tax law of the Republican President.

The founder of Tesla and Spacex added that a “way of exerting” influence on the current US bipartisan system, dominated by republican and democratic parties, would be to concentrate “only two or three chairs in the Senate and eight to ten of the House [dos Representantes]”.
“Given the extremely narrow legislative margins, this would be sufficient to serve as a decisive vote in controversial legislation, ensuring that it meets the true will of the people,” said the businessman.
Breaking due to an economic project
The poll occurs after public breakup between Musk and Trump. The main reason is the so-called “great and beautiful bill” that the agent sanctioned last Friday amid the independence of the US, which foresees the cut of trillions of dollars in taxes to Americans.
“This is the largest bill of this category in our history,” Trump said in a statement in the White House. “Our idea was to divide the propositions by parts, but we decided to gather everything into a great and beautiful bill that will carry out the largest cut of taxes and expenses in American history, about $ 1.7 trillion, which will benefit military, civilians and job creation in all sectors. The legislation, which received a green light in the Senate and should return for analysis in the House before Trump’s final signature, provides about $ 4.5 trillion in tax cut, including:
- New tax incentives such as tips tax exemption and overtime payment;
- Possibility to deduce interest on some vehicle financing;
- Deduction of US $ 6,000 for elderly women who earn up to $ 75,000 per year;
- Immediate deduction of 100% of equipment and research costs for American companies.
According to an analysis of a Budget Office Congressional Apartisan Organization, average income taxpayers would have a tax reduction of $ 500 to $ 1,500, while Americans with higher income would increase $ 12,000 with the fiscal plan.
Musk, a bill’s critic states that the law will increase US debt and destroy millions of jobs in the country. The South African also suggested punishing parliamentarians to support the project in question.
“They will lose their primaries next year even if this is the last thing I do on this land,” said Musk.
The US president answered the businessman stating that if he did not receive US subsidies to his companies, he would have to return to South Africa, his home country.
