Moraes suspends acts on IOF and calls on conciliation between government and congress

Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) determined on Friday (4) the suspension of acts of the Federal Government and the National Congress on the IOF and summoned a conciliation hearing between the powers.

According to the document released, the hearing is scheduled to take place on July 15, at 15h00, “for which the Presidencies of the Republic, the Federal Senate and the House of Representatives, the Attorney General’s Office, the Attorney General of the Union and the parties”.

After the meeting, the need to maintain the injunction granted will be analyzed.
