by Marcelo Moreira

Anti -loading opposition leader María Corina Machado cried to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) last Saturday (6), Venezuela Independence Day, by firmness and organization for the country’s “liberation”, where she fights for the fall of the Maduro dictatorship.

“Prepare and wake up, understand that what is coming requires courage, organization, vision and a sense of nation and future,” said former deputy and persecuted politics, in a video shared on social networks, which celebrated the 214th anniversary of the signature of Venezuela’s Independence Minutes.

María Corina, who is still hidden, said the military were “witnesses and protagonists of the mandate of the people” expressed in the presidential elections of July 28, 2024, won by the oppositionist Edmundo González Urrutia. However, Nicolás Maduro, defeated, was proclaimed winner for a third consecutive term as president by the electoral body, controlled by authorities chavists.

The opposition leader emphasized that the Venezuelans decided to “change the course of the country”, which is why Fanb soldiers “have a duty to contribute to popular sovereignty to be respected” and that, while they do not, will be “accomplices of violation of the national constitution.”

“They have to choose: either they sink into submission and shame, or dive and save themselves, becoming true patriots,” he emphasized.

She also stated that the “only option” of every military committed to the nation and the Constitution “is” to assume her responsibility. “

“Resist, do not give up, stay firm, take care of each other, keep organizing, the moment is coming, my commitment of course: you are not alone, I fight every day to build the necessary support for protection, coordination and guarantee that our fight will be victorious,” said Machado, who highlighted the follow -up of “powerful international allies.”

The oppositionist also stated that “with the fall of this terror regime, the resurgence military institution will be luminous, led by the love of freedom, Venezuela and guided by the highest values of democracy.”

“That day, which is already approaching, we will celebrate our true and definitive independence together. Officers and soldiers of the National Armed Forces, count on me, we count on you,” he added.

Previously, González Urrutia assured, in an audio published on the social network Xthat the desire for change “is stronger than ever”, noting that today, as in 1811, Venezuela is facing a “threat” to its sovereignty, but “not for external forces, but for a regime that intends to kidnap the will of the people.”

At an Independence Day ceremony last Saturday, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López ratified his support for Maduro, who, he said, is “courageously leading the battle to build the new state,” and stressed that the fanb has “the spirit” of the late President Hugo Chavez.
