A man hung on the ceiling of a supermarket in Rio de Janeiro and was eventually arrested by the Military Police while clinging to the air conditioning and electric wiring ducts. The unusual scene took place at a unit of the Guanabara network, in the north of the state capital, this Saturday (26).
The video shows some goers shouting at the fear that the structure falls to the floor with the man. The suspect resists, but the agent manages to remove it from the ceiling and immobilize it at the top of one of the shelves.
Guanabara’s staff stated that the man broke into the store, climbed on the shelves and refused to leave the place. Given the refusal, employees called the competent authorities.
The Military Police said they were called to contain a home, which was damaging the goods and threatening customers. The corporation added that the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to perform the first calls.
