Latvia sent another lot of drones to the Ukraine defense forces, reinforcing its support in the war effort against Russia.

The new shipment, consisting of 1,300 Drones of Manufacturing Lethan, was announced by the Minister of Defense Andris SPRūds on social networks. With this shipping, the total number of drones provided by Latonia to Ukraine in 2025 reaches 12 thousand units, totaling more than US $ 20 million.

Delivery is part of the International Drone Coalition, an initiative led by Latvia in partnership with the United Kingdom. The group provides financing and coordinates the production and sending of these equipment within the context of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, created in Ramstein format in February this year.

According to the minister, the new shipment fulfills the scheduled schedule for the first half of 2025. An earlier lot, also with 1,300 drones, was sent to the Ukrainian army in late June.

Latvia follows as one of the main European partners in the supply of unmanned technology to support the Ukrainian resistance.
