North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, ordered the army to prepare for a total war, according to information released by the North Korean state news agency.
The North Korean leader supervised an artillery shooting exercise designed to test the implementation of combat and attack on unexpected enemies in a coastal environment. Also this week, the regime announced the construction of a new war ship, scheduled for delivery to 2026.
The order of readiness of the Supreme Leader occurs after sending troops and weapons through the North Korea to support Russia in the war in Ukraine. South Korean intelligence agencies reported that North Korea sent more than 10,000 soldiers to the Russian Kursk region last year. The two countries, which face severe international sanctions, signed in 2024 a military agreement that includes a mutual defense clause.
