Australian officials investigate two recent episodes of anti-Israel activism against a renowned Israeli chef and a synagogue in Melbourne.
One of the cases was reported by the newspaper Herald Sun This Friday (4). According to the publication, pro-Palestinos protesters invaded a branch of the Miznon restaurant, Israeli chef Eyal Shani, in the city of Melbourne, due to his support and one of his partners, Shahar Segal, to the Humanitarian aid program in the United States and Israel gaza track.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is supported by US President Donald Trump and the Israeli government. The organization began to work at the Palestinian enclave on May 26 amid attempts to prevent distributed help to the Palestinian population from reaching the hands of Hamas.
The other episode of Anti-Israel activism was directed to a Synagogue of Est Melbourn, where criminals tried to set the scene on fire.
In a statement, the Jewish community security group reported that the synagogue was burned, without further structural damage and without reports.
