Retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) who were victims of irregular discounts begin to be reimbursed on Thursday (24). According to the government, the adhesion was made by over one million people.
The first batch of payments will benefit 400,000 people. From there, transfers will take place on working days, with daily lots of 100,000 beneficiaries. The order will follow the adhesion sequence to the agreement. The reimbursement will be paid in a single installment corrected by inflation.
It is important to remember that those who adhered to the return agree to receive the money by administrative means and renounce the right to prosecute the INSS in the future for fraud. According to the Government, the deadline for contestation of improper discounts runs until November 14, 2025 and the adhesion will remain available after that date.
