Hyundai reveals SUV IONIQ 9 adapted as a mobile drone base

Hyundai officially presented the IONIQ 9 Drone Stationan innovative version of its electric SUV turned into a mobile base for drone operations. The vehicle is designed to provide complete field missions, combining mobility, technology and sustainability.

The model has an external feed system, allowing direct charging of the drones from the main battery of the car. To accommodate the equipment, the rear row of seats has been removed, giving way to a workstation equipped with a swivel chair, monitors and integrated computer – allowing the remote control of real -time missions.

One of the vehicles is already being used in an environmental project focused on the recovery of areas devastated by forest fires. In it, drones launch seed capsules in hard -to -reach places, helping to restore native vegetation efficiently and automated.
