General Motors has temporarily suspended the sale of three of its medium-sized SUVs from 2026-the Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia-due to a non-specific quality problem.
The measure, which only concerns 92 vehicles, was confirmed by the car manufacturer and was communicated to dealers on 7 July via an internal bulletin.
As long as the defect has not been remedied, the vehicles may not be delivered to customers, used for test drives or moved between dealers.
All affected models are part of a new generation with changes in design, motorization and technology. They are produced in the same GM-Fabriek in Lansing Delta Township, Michigan, USA.
Although GM did not give any details about the problem, the company expects to resolve it by the end of the week.
