Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Blaz, a former Military Police-oriented partner, became a defendant in the action that was investigating an operation commanded by the year in a building in Flamengo, South Zone of Rio. At the time, he was dismissed from the position of commander of the 2nd BPM.
Videos show that he and another plainclothes policeman surrendered the porter and put him with his face against the floor. At least five agents were on site, armed with pistols and rifles.
According to the complaint, Blaz coordinated an intelligence operation after receiving an anonymous complaint that the drug trafficker Álvaro Malaquias Santa Rosa, known as Peixão, was visiting his father in an apartment in the building. The lawsuit had no court order or concrete evidence of crime in the act.
The Specialized Public Security Group denounced Lieutenant Colonel for home invasion crimes and illegal embarrassment. The action was accepted by the audit of Military Justice.
