On Tuesday (22), the Federal Police (PF) served warrants that resulted in the arrest of one of the leaders of the criminal organization that sent cocaine to countries in Europe between 2022 and 2023.
In recent months the operation called Last Call (last call) has devoted itself to locating the last member of the gang, targeted by an arrest warrant.
The gang operated at Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo, removing the label from the dispatched luggage and placing in another bag containing illicit substances.
The case gained notoriety in 2023, when two Brazilian women were unfairly arrested in Germany. Police in the country found cocaine in the victims’ luggage, who spent 38 days in prison.
