Former presidential candidate and member of the Romania Parliament George Simion left in defense of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and the family of his son Eduardo, a licensed federal deputy who said last week that his wife Bolsonaro’s bank accounts were blocked by order of the Supreme Federal Court (STF).
In X, the Romanian parliamentarian wrote that Jair Bolsonaro suffers “orderly political persecution and executed by a judge of the Supreme Court of Brazil, who was extended to other members of his family”, referring to the situation of Eduardo and Heloisa.
Simion continued: “Eduardo and his wife (not involved in politics!) They had their bank accounts frozen. This is not justice, but a well -targeted attack,” sharing a publication by the Brazilian congressman who has been on leave since March.
Since the Federal Police (PF) search operation on the 18th at the residence of former President Jair Bolsonaro, several international leaders, some allies with US President Donald Trump, have expressed their criticism of STF actions.
In Europe, Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orbán shared a message in defense of Bolsonaro. In addition to him, Italian vice-minister-minister Matteo Salvini accused a “leftist judiciary” of pursuing the former president of Brazil.
The Supreme Court was triggered to comment on recent criticism involving Bolsonaro’s case. There was no return until the publication of the article, but the space remains open for updates.
