The license of federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) comes to an end on Sunday (20). From now on, if you do not present formal justifications to the House of Representatives, he may have the absences accounted for as absences.
Eduardo has been in the United States since February. In March, he announced that he would move away from his term for 120 days, a period to which two days of justified absence as “health treatment” were added.
The announcement of the license took place a week before the Federal Supreme Court (STF) made former President Jair Bolsonaro defendant for participation in the attempted coup in 2022. Eduardo is not investigated in the process, but, in communicating his removal, criticized the STF and Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of criminal action.
