An injured Ukrainian soldier was rescued with the help of an unusual drone in an operation carried out by the 4th Rubizh Rapid Reaction Brigade of the Ukraine National Guard.

Surrounded by Russian troops and injured after a poison gas attack, the combatant, identified only by the codename Tankist, resisted alone for several days, eliminating an enemy group while waiting for support.

Unable to get around to the nearest allied base, located 1.5 km, the Battalion prepared a plan to send an electric bike through a large drone. The first two attempts failed: one with the dripped drone and the other for overweight. Only in the third attempt did the equipment successfully deliver the vehicle on the front line.

Tankist began his journey back, but a few meters from security, he triggered an earthly mine. Despite the explosion, he survived and was rescued by an infantry team.

A second electric bike was subsequently sent, allowing it to finally reach a safe area. The operation, recorded on video, was released on the official Battalion channel.
