Donald Trump took another step to expand his business in communication. On Monday (7), he launched Truth+, a streaming platform that is now available in several countries. The service debuts with a strategic partnership with the Conservative Newsmax channel.
Truth+ offers live broadcasts and on -demand videos. The public can access content on mobile devices (iOS and Android), web browsers and connected TVs such as Apple TV, Roku, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV.
Trump Media & Technology Group, which also controls the social network Truth Social, began testing the platform at the end of June. Now the company is still in the testing phase and collects user opinions to adjust the experience.
In addition to expanding Trump’s business, the launch strengthens the international expansion of Newsmax. The station, which opened capital in March, uses the partnership to reach new audiences outside the United States.
In the financial market, the reaction was mixed. Trump Media shares rose 0.6%, reaching US $ 19.06 (about R $ 104.21). On the other hand, Newsmax papers fell 2.6% and closed at $ 14.65 ($ 80.10) in the morning.
