They were buried this Saturday (05), in Gondomar, Portugal, the bodies of striker Diogo Jota, Liverpool and the Portuguese team, and his brother, André Silva, who defended Penafiel. The two died last Thursday (03), victims of a car accident in Spain.
The funeral and the funeral took place in the hometown of the brothers and gathered only family, close friends and former club companions, in restricted ceremonies. The farewell mass was held in a local church.
Remember the case
Diogo Jota and André Silva were traveling through the region of Senabria, northern Spain, when the vehicle where they were suffered an accident on a highway. According to the Spanish authorities, Lamborghini that transported them had a tire burst during an attempt to overtake. Police are investigating the causes of the accident and points out, preliminarily, that speeding and poor road conditions may have contributed to the tragedy.
