Brian Stelter’s son is looking to share his on-air expertise.
As the CNN correspondent appeared virtually on a segment alongside Jessica Dean July 20 to discuss President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for an article pertaining to his relationship with Jeffrey Epsteinhe was joined by a surprise visitor: his 5-year-old son Story.
The media expert was able to maintain his composure as his son peeked into the frame, making it through the segment with only a few subtle facial expressions pertaining to the surprise guest.
Dean, for her part, also managed to get through the interview before slyly nodding to Stelter’s son in her send off.
“Alright, Brian Stelter, thanks to you,” Dean said during the broadcast. “And I think you had a little helper with you, too, so give our thanks to him.”
Stelter—who is also dad to Sunny8, with wife Jamie Stelter—took the nod in stride, adding, “I apologize for my 5-year-old, it’s bedtime here at the Stelter house.”
