On July 15th, a new episode of the series “Trainwreck” was released on Netflix, depicting the story of a boy who was said to be thrown into the sky in a UFO-shaped helium balloon.

A boy named Falcon went missing in 2009. At the time, his father, Richard Hean, was working on a project on a helium balloon in the shape of a UFO.

At the time, the incident was treated as shocking news, and the Falcon family thought the boy was inside the balloon.

Falcon’s older brother testified that he saw his younger brother trying to get into a balloon. His father, Richard, contacted the television station and asked him not to lose sight of the boy by tracking the balloon on a helicopter.

But as Falcon himself tells him in a Netflix documentary, he was hiding in the attic from the start. The “life risk” that many people thought was never actually there.

However, the event that was supposed to have a happy ending ended up becoming a major police incident. In an interview with CNN reporter Wolf Blitzer, Falcon said he didn’t respond despite hearing his parents’ calls.

“My dads said they did it for the show,” Falcon revealed Richard and Mayumi Heen’s lies.

The statement caused the two to be indicted and convicted. Richard was sentenced to 90 days in prison, Mayumi was ordered to serve 20 days over the weekend and pay another $36,000 in compensation.

“Trainwreck: Balloon Boy” is currently available on Netflix.
